Four tracks of funky, jackin, cinematic, spacey ghetto house from a dusty, post apocalyptic phuture.

The LeMotion Brother’s (LeVar, LeRoy, LeMonde & LaRonce) started producing in 2098, picking through the ruins of a once great city (possibly Detroit or maybe Newcastle) looking for food, they discovered a 100 year old mobile recording studio in a suitcase and a house and techno record collection. Inspired by the vinyl they set about trying to emulate the audio magic they heard. But after decades of disuse and exposure to radiation and stuff and computers simply not working, they had to sequence temperamental drum machines, samplers and synths live, recording to cassette, producing what can best be described as a funky / futuristic / warped / lofi / ghetto house.

Somehow these four tracks were transmitted back in time and discovered by RogerLogic. It’s possible not just the tracks came back and somewhere out there at least one LeMotion is still producing their distorted take on house music and searching for way to prevent the coming apocalypse.
